NEW BEAVER INFORMATION

Who are the Beavers?

 

Beaver Scouts are aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. You can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, soon afyter you are eight.

Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week in a Beaver Scout Colony.

The Beaver Scout Promise

What do Beavers wear?

 

Scouting is a uniformed organisation and the uniform you wear tells everyone that you are a Beaver Scout.

for instance, people can tell what Colony you belong to by looking at the colour of your scarf.

The uniform consists of:

 

· Turquoise long sleeved sweatshirt

· Navy jogging pants, leggings or shorts

· Group scarf & woggle.

· Scout baseball Cap

 

During your time with us we hope you will enjoy playing games, making new friends and learning new skills .
